Anyone in India aged 18 or older, resident or non-resident, with a valid PAN Card and an Indian bank account, can invest with 13Karat. NRIs can invest using their NRO bank account.

How safe is my money?
Your money is solely channeled through the 13Karat investment platform and goes straight to an escrow bank account controlled by an independent trustee selected by RBI-regulated P2P NBFCs, from whence it will be utilized to lend to borrowers and cannot be accessed for any other purpose.
Are my earnings taxable? Will taxes get deducted when I withdraw my earnings?
Please keep in mind that the interest income you make from your assets is taxed according to your income tax bracket. It falls under the heading 'Other income.' However, no tax is deducted from your profits at the time of withdrawal. It is your duty to meet your tax responsibilities in accordance with the current law.
What amount of money can I invest?
You can begin investing with a minimum of Rs. 500, and the maximum investment is Rs. 10 lakhs. If you want to invest more than Rs. 10 lakh, please contact 13Karat, and the staff will gladly assist you. According to RBI norms, net worth certificates are necessary for investments over Rs. 10 lakhs.
What payment options are accepted by 13Karat?
Payments can be made using UPI or Net banking. The maximum limit for UPI transactions is Rs. 1 lakh. Credit card payments are not permitted for P2P investments under RBI restrictions.
